Because of a possible issue with the door handles, Volkswagen has recalled 98,806 of its popular ID.4 electric SUVs. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reported that the door handles could permit rainwater to enter into the circuit board assembly. This defect may result in an accident because the doors could open unexpectedly while the car is in transit thus putting the lives of both the driver and people around in danger.
Volkswagen has mentioned they will check out faulty door handles and replace them as necessary while updating vehicle software without charging owners anything for it. Notification letters are expected to be sent out by November 1st, 2024. You can also call Volkswagen’s customer care center via 1-800-893-5298 for more information about the recall which affects ID.4 models made between 2021 and 2024 hence extending previous recalls 23V-312 and 23V-213 which means that cars that were fixed earlier could require this new remedy as well..

Mazda is recalling 672 vehicles across three models—the 2024 CX-30, 2025 CX-50, and 2024 Mazda 3 compacts—due to a malfunction in the forward sensing camera. How to check if your car is affected
If you own a vehicle from Volkswagen, Porsche, or Mazda, it’s essential to check if your car is part of these recalls. Owners can search for recalls on the NHTSA website using their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). This will provide you with the most up-to-date information on whether your vehicle is affected and the next steps you can take.
Additionally, with over 100,000 vehicles recalled from these three automobile brands alone, it’s crucial for car owners to stay informed and take action if necessary.
