What should taxpayers in these regions note?
Taxpayers based in these affected areas should note that the tax relief is postponed until 3rd February 2025, various tax filings and payments that occurred at the beginning of August 1st, 2024, in Florida; August 4th, 2024, in Georgia and South Carolina; and August 5th, 2024, in North Carolina.
Due to this result, individuals and businesses that have been affected have up until the 3rd of February, 2025 to file in returns and pay any taxes that were originally due during this period.
The February 3, 2025, deadline applies to:
