With the stage booked, the stars are well ready to attend, and the talent for the convention is mostly secured. However, there are still some questions on which celebrities will be attending or performing; will it be John Legend or Octavia Spencer?

DNC Convention 2024

The Democratic Convention has an exciting list of star-studded guest rosters, which over the years have outshined the conventions of the Republicans. In the Milwaukee gathering, in which former president Donald Trump was in the limelight, we saw Jason Aldean, the right-wing rapper Kid Rock, and one of WWE’s all-time greats, Hulk Hogan.

The Republican convention also saw former president Donald Trump adopt the “God Bless the U.S.A.” song performed by Lee Greenwood. However, this entertainment rooster is nothing compared to the stars lined up for next week’s Democratic convention.

In a recent interview, Robin Bronk, the chief executive of the Creative Coalition, which is a non-profit advocacy arm of Hollyhood, said, “We have encouraged our members to use the superpower of the entertainment industry to bring attention to issues that are important to the nation’s social welfare.” He also went further to say, “If artists can make a difference, that’s our whole platform.”

Creative Coalition is said to be sponsoring what is believed to be one of the best and biggest parties of the week, as well as a multi-act concert that will be co-hosted by the actress Octavia Spencer on Wednesday, which will be the second to last night of the DNC convention.

The Party Plan for Democratic National Convection

Here is how the democratic national convention will be shaped, like:

  • On Sunday: Sunday will feature the comedic news team of the famous “The Daily Show” promoting dog adoptions near the Wrigley as club fans will head to a home game friendlies against the Toronto Blue Jays. Jon Stewart is scheduled to helm the show from Chicago’s Athenaeum Center on Thursday, so host Jon Stewart is most likely not going to be in hand.
  • On Monday night: An Equality PAC party in the L.G.B.T.Q. neighborhood of Boys Town will feature the stars of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” in the person of Chad Michaels, Jackie Cox, and Ganache. Also at PRYSM, which is one of Chicago’s finest nightclubs, the Georgia Democratic Party will be holding a DJ party with Atlanta rapper Lil Jon.
  • On Tuesday: Tuesday will host one of the first big waves, which will come from the billionaire governor of Illinois, JB Pritzker, along with his wife, MK Pritzker, who has been willing to show off his hometown.

The Illinois governor secured the Salt Shed, which is a converted Morton Salt factory and is one of Chicago’s premier concert venues with a headliner that states: the singer, songwriter, and Democratic activist John Legend.

  • On Wednesday: The night will feature what is hoped to be the concert of the week, where three major issues will be promoted for the Democratic coalitions, involving topics such as abortion rights, gun control, and voting rights.

The newly renovated Ramova Theater will have headliners in the working-class Bridgeport neighborhood: Joan Jett and the Blacjharts, a band from MS. Harris’s Generation X youth; Drive-B-truckers, one of Harris’s favorite staff; as well as Sistastrings.

Ms. Spencer, who is an Academy Award winner, is said to be the host. The promoters are on a promise to show off Hollywood’s talents, such as Uma Thurman, Dania Gurra of “Walking Dead, and Black Panther,” Iain Armitage, and Uzo Aduba.

  • On Thursday Night: Thursday night will hold the fireworks as Imactual, which is a Washington consulting firm, and Future Forward, who are in support of the Harris-Walz ticket, are co-producing a concert as well as a fund-raiser for a party at the polls, which is a youth-oriented group that sponsors. This concert will be at the Ramova, which is co-owned by Chance the Rapper, Jennifer Hudson, and Quincy Jones.
