As the race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump on who will emerge as the next U.S president gets heated up, influential members from the Republican party both past and present are publicly displaying support for Kamala.

It is rare to see politicians cross party lines. However, with so many republicans expressing their support for Kamala, that is exactly what is happening.
In a statement by Austin Weatherford, the National Director for the Republican Engagement, Weatherford noted that Trump’s “extremism is toxic to the millions of Republicans who no longer believe the party of Donald Trump represents their values.
