Millions of Americans affected by a data breach at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. have until February 10 to claim their share of a $21 million settlement. The breach exposed sensitive personal information, and victims could receive up to $6,000 if they file a claim on time.

Nearly 3.5 million people had their personal information exposed, including Social Security numbers, credit card details, medical information, and more. 

When did it happen? 

  The breach occurred between June 3 and September 26, 2020.  

Why is it a big deal?  

The company took almost a year to notify victims, which increased the risk of identity theft and fraud.

  The breach included sensitive data like:

How to File a Claim 

Who can file?

  Anyone whose data was exposed in the breach between June and September 2020. To claim the maximum amount, you must provide proof of financial losses.

Deadline: 

  •   All claims must be submitted by February 10. Late claims will not be accepted.
