Presidential candidate Donald Trump has no scheduled rally for today, September 3. His next scheduled event is in Mosinee, Wisconsin, on Saturday, September 7. That rally gets underway at 1:00 p.m. CT.

On Friday, August 31, former President Donald Trump visited Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and caused a huge crowd to gather at 1st Summit Arena, located on Napoleon Street. The rally has become a standard feature of campaigns for Trump, as it opened its doors at around 12:30 PM with him taking the center stage at about 4:45 PM and speaking for roughly one hour and thirty minutes long.
In his speech, he touched on several issues, including an incident that took place in Arlington National Cemetery, his intention to win over Pennsylvania, and some recent political events relating to Vice President Kamala Harris and also Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota. In his next event on Saturday, we can expect more of the same.
Immigration issues and fracking were also hot-button topics during the president’s address since he maintained his very firm positions regarding those two matters.
“November 5 is the single most important day in the history of our country,” Trump emphasized the importance of the upcoming election.
A Man Arrested At the Protest
The rally went smoothly except for a disturbance that took place when a man was seized by police. The man tried to step into an area set for journalists, and as a result, there was immediate action taken by law enforcement agencies. The man was restrained with a Taser gun before he was escorted away from the place. Another individual was also handcuffed and led out, but whether or not there exist any connections between these two occurrences is still unknown. As for their names, both have not been disclosed yet.

Concerns about safety during Trump rallies have increased, and Johnstown is no exception. In July, a gunman shot at Trump during a rally that was held outdoors in Butler County, Pennsylvania, which grazed his ear. Consequently, tighter security was put in place for all future events. Despite this disruption, Trump carried on delivering his speech without being rattled by what happened.

In the past few weeks, Pennsylvania has seen Trump go there many times, including a rally held on August 17 at Wilkes-Barre and then another one to York within a short while. He also promised to return to Butler County following an attack that happened in July 2018.
Ongoing Criticism of the Media
So whenever Trump held rallies, he would speak against the media. This theme recurred in most public appearances he made. Just seconds before the disruption in the audience, he called them “enemies of the people,” which made his listeners boo him. Pritchard, Saturday was the eve of an incident that he confirmed involved an angry man who will be seen before in court on some charges such as disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and disrupting public assembly. The man was arrested and released, with formal charges likely to be pressed against him in the coming week at the municipal court level. It’s still not clear what drove him to invade the media zones or if he was one of the supporters or critics of Donald Trump.
On the other hand, as it stands right now, Trump’s campaigns are characterized by tumultuous rallies that tend to attract attention from both his supporters and media representatives alike, thus giving them the necessary publicity required for it to grow bigger than anything else in this country’s politics, hence remaining under focus on securing him as they remain his priority in upcoming events while he maintains a steady pace forward.
