About Bob’s Stores

Bob’s Stores is a chain of retail stores that in addition to clothing offers furniture as well as equipment. Its target customers are moderate-income customers, which is why Bob’s stores at all locations are known for their affordable but quality products.

Bod Stores was founded in 1954 by Robert Bob Lapidus. It was formerly called Bob’s Surplus in Middletown, Connecticut. Since then, there has been a gradual expansion of the chain, and the store ownership has been handed over to different people or companies till now. The most recent owner is that of the GoDigital Media Group in 2022. The GoDigital Media Group has been the owner of Bob’s stores till its closure.
