The great campaign was triggered as a follow up to a Whopper revamp contest, which was hugely successful and attracted over a million original readers who designed similar burgers. How to get a $1 burger
Within the scope of this promotion, Burger King will offer one million Whoppers for one dollar. The last contestant is the Mexican Street Corn Whopper which Kelsie from Nebraska designed. This version of Whopper features grilled quarter beef patties adorned with corn crema, lettuce, tomato, crispy tortillas and spicy cheese atop a toasted sesame seed bun. Whopper corn crema and crushed tortilla pieces pay homage to the popular Mexican street food corn, making this burger delightfully crispy with just the right amount of heat, a unique taste that fast food burgers lack.
Besides having the winner’s burger featured on the Burger King menu, the author of the winning whopper will get a grand cash award of $1 million. All Royal Perks members will be permitted to vote, and the winning Whopper Design will be added to the permanent menus in the restaurants of Burger King.
