Ford recalled 6,212 units of its 2024 Mustang model due to a malfunction with the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC), which could fail to illuminate essential displays such as warning lights and vehicle speed indicators. In addition, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), said the 2024 Ford Mustang “fails to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 101, ‘Control and Displays’ and 102, ‘Transmission shift lever sequence, starter interlock, and transmission braking effect.’”

For rearview camera display failure
A broader recall affects 24,950 of Ford’s F-Series trucks, including the F-250, F-350, and F-450 from 2023 to 2024.
