The federal government initiated the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) to provide food assistance to low-income citizens. This July, the United States government has launched a $291 SNAP payment.

US citizens must meet the 2024 SNAP eligibility criteria before benefitting from SNAP benefits.  $291 will be received using the EBT debit card and can be used to purchase groceries from any store in the US. To ensure these benefits reach all beneficiaries in all US states, the government has scheduled different dates for residents of each state to receive the payment.

$291 SNAP 2024 eligibility criteria

There are certain criteria an individual or citizen must meet to be able to get access to this benefit. Ensure you meet all these requirements before applying for the $291 SNAP benefits.
