  • To receive the payment, you must also have little or no resources. The resources in question mean that your money in the bank or vehicles should not amount to more than $2000 or $3000 for couples and individuals, respectively.
  • If you are below the age of 64, then you must be able to prove that you have a disability that stops you from working to earn an income. However, if you are 65 years and older, you don’t need to have a disability to receive the payment.
