The second round of social security is worth $4,873 payable to American seniors.

Millions of Americans claim numerous types of benefits every month. However, not everyone is paid on the same day.

For U.S retirees, there is a social security schedule allowing every retiree to know the exact day to expect or receive their social security paycheck. This scheduled is usually announced every year by the social security administration.

Knowing the exact date of your social security paycheck is important for every retiree who intends to plan their finances appropriately.

However, retirees with birthdays between 1st and 10th of a month got paid last week. On Wednesday, August 28, seniors with birth days between 21st and 31st will be paid.

For the second round of social security,  retirees who were born on the 11th and 20th of a month will receive their paychecks from the Social Security Administration (SSA) by August 21st.

Retirees can receive a social security payment of $2,710 monthly once they turn 62. However, once they turn 70, the payment increases to $4,873 per month.

Not all retirees will be paid the same amount as payable amount is determined by several factors such as the age you started claiming your social security benefits and how much you paid into social securitu during your highest paid years of work and number of years paid into social security.

Retirees can find out how much they can earn each month using the calculator provided by the SSA.

The highest payable amount is $4,873 especially to retirees who are 70 years of age.

It is projected that these payment amount will rise owing to high cost of living.

What if you don’t receive your social security payment by August 21

If by August 21 you do not receive your social security payment or you do not receive your paycheck, you can reach out to the Social Security Administration (SSA). However, before notifying the SSA of your unseen payment, it is expected that you wait for at least, three days.

If after three day you are still yet to receive your social security benefit or you are not notified about receiving your payment then you can freely reach out and speak with a representagive of the SSA via 800-772-1213. You can also decide to access your social security benefits online.

Will I receive both social security and SSI payment on the same day?

The payment schedule for social security and Supplemental Security Income(SSI) is different. You will receive your social security payment on the third day of each month instead of Wednesday and your SSI on the first day of every month. These payment dates are subject to change especially if the dates mentioned falls on a holiday or weekend. If that happens, beneficiaries will receive their payments earlier than expected.
