The 2024 Summer Olympic Games are taking place in Paris, France, with more than 10,500 athletes from all over the globe participating in the competitions. At the 2024 Summer Games, 204 out of 206 National Olympic Committees are present, with 54 from Africa, 48 from Europe, 44 from Asia, 41 from the Americas, and 17 from Oceania.
Both the Army Marksmanship Unit and the U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program have produced well-trained athletes to represent the United States of America at the 2024 Olympic Games.
Which war veterans and US Army soldiers are competing in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games?
A total of 10 athletes and veterans from the U.S. Army will compete in various events at the 2024 Olympic Games, including shooting, track and field, wrestling, and rugby. They include two Veterans, seven U.S. Army soldiers, and one Army Reserve soldier.
